About Me

If you know this line, like me, you must be an Anne of Green Gables fan.

I started reading Anne of Green Gables when I was in Grade 3 and I was so inspired by not only her imaginative character, but also by the poetry she rehearsed throughout the series. I wanted to write beautiful words like those poets too.

So I did. Yup, I just put my mind to it and did it.

I started writing poetry, mostly about nature, when I was in Grade 3. That’s what I did at recess time instead of playing!

Whether it be winning Literacy awards, getting scholarship essays published, majoring in English Literature and Psychology, or teaching across the country, I have never put down the pen. I am constantly improving my craft. Most recently, I completed Dan Lok’s Copywriting Secrets courses.

Now, I run my own tutoring company where I help students develop their own writing skills.  I also help my husband with his work by writing marketing emails, editing newsletters, drafting marketing plans, and more.

When you can’t find me in my office, you can likely catch me outside on my farm, with my two boys, experiencing all the “scope for the imagination” mother nature has to offer!

As you can see, I’ve always loved reading and writing and I’ve always been passionate about helping people. My wild imagination, determination and problem-solving skills have allowed me to take this passion to the next level and help many succeed.
